Beach Tips
- Sunbed costs: $3–$7 at most beaches; luxury clubs charge $8–$30+ (often including food/drink minimums)
- Water shoes: Helpful for pebble beaches (Türkbükü, parts of Yalıkavak)
- Wind: The Bodrum peninsula gets afternoon winds (meltemi), great for windsurfers but can make beaches choppy. Morning is usually calmer.
- Boat beaches: Some of the best swimming is from boat trips to remote bays inaccessible by land
