Day-by-Day Itinerary
Days 1–3: Istanbul (3 Nights)
Follow the 7-day itinerary's Istanbul section:
- Day 1: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Hippodrome
- Day 2: Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, Bosphorus cruise, Karaköy/Galata
- Day 3: Topkapı Palace, Asian side/Kadıköy, Turkish hamam
Days 4–5: Cappadocia (2–3 Nights)
- Day 4: Fly Istanbul→Kayseri. Afternoon Rose/Red Valley hike. Sunset at Lover's Hill.
- Day 5: Dawn balloon ride. Göreme Open Air Museum. Derinkuyu Underground City. Uçhisar Castle.
- Day 6 (optional): Ihlara Valley day trip (worth the extra day) or depart for Antalya.
Days 7–8: Antalya (2 Nights)
- Day 7: Fly to Antalya. Explore Kaleiçi old town — Hadrian's Gate, harbor, Yivli Minare. Sunset drinks at a rooftop bar.
- Day 8: Day trip to Aspendos (best Roman theater) + Perge, or hike Termessos (mountain-top ruins). Pick up rental car.
Days 9–12: Turquoise Coast Road Trip (4 Nights)
This is the highlight of the 14-day itinerary — a scenic drive along the Mediterranean coast.
- Day 9: Drive to Olympos/Çıralı. Beach day, evening hike to the Chimera eternal flames. Overnight Çıralı.
- Day 10: Drive to Kaş. Stop at Phaselis if desired. Afternoon Kekova boat trip (sunken city). Overnight Kaş.
- Day 11: Morning in Kaş. Drive to Fethiye, stopping at Kaputaş Beach and optionally Patara. Overnight Fethiye.
- Day 12: Ölüdeniz Blue Lagoon in the morning. Paragliding from Babadağ. Or 12 Islands boat trip. Overnight Fethiye.
Days 13–14: Ephesus & Pamukkale
- Day 13: Return rental car. Fly Dalaman → Izmir (or drive). Visit Ephesus — Library of Celsus, Terrace Houses, Great Theater. Overnight Selçuk.
- Day 14: Morning bus to Denizli (3 hours). Pamukkale travertines + Hierapolis. Evening flight from Denizli to Istanbul, or overnight bus.
Alternative ending: If flying out of Istanbul, take a domestic flight Denizli→Istanbul on Day 14 evening.
